Tallmansville, W. Virginia

S/Sgt. Wilmer G. Poling, a top turret Gunner on a B-24 Bomber, was killed in action over Italy on August 12, 1944.  His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Poling, Tallmansville, were informed by the War Department last week.  He had participated in over 40 missions.
